This Month on Instagram #14- November

Hey ya'll!
How was your November? Mine was COLD, and it will be cold for a ridiculously long time. *Lucy voice from Peanuts*
"I'm going to have a word with whoever planned this weather!"
😛
Thanksgiving was nice, lots of food(!!!) and got to see some relatives I haven't seen in a long while. (My uncle grew a mustache and goatee. Not a very good one.)

Unfortunately we have a sad lack of fall clothes, so I feel like she's a bit thrown together???
Is she wearing a Slytherin scarf? Absolutely.
I meant to have some available in my etsy shop this year, but I've fallen off the ball, and in reorganizing my priorities, knitting got shuffled to the bottom. Oops. But I've got a few other items listed! check it out HERE
 Her hair looks fab tho.

And prepare yourself, because you're going to get ALL the subtle angle shots, because omw every TIME I forget how photogenic this girl is and I can't stop lol

 Look at this beauty😍

 So fabulous 💋

 Love this shot✨

This shot was really hard to get 😂 I had my phone in one hand and my other arm wrapped around that tree to hold her hand so she stayed upright 😂😂 I had bark imprints all on my arm wHAT WAS I THINKING 😂😂😂

 This was much easier lol
 THAT HAIR THO.

Anyhows, How was your November? You looking forward to Christmas? How is your December looking?
I'm finishing up my English class, (THANK GOODNESS) and still haven't taken the doll photoshoot for this month, and am trying to juggle finishing school, making Christmas presents, writing ma book, and finding the joy wherever I go. :)

Also, HAVE YOU SEEN THE TRAILER FOR THE BLACK WIDOW MOVIE??? WHAT.
Sorry for the outburst, I'm so so so hyped 😄

Bye,

Happy thanksgiving from the dolls!

Happy thanksgiving everyone!

As well as setting up this, I made corn bread, watched charlie brown's thanksgiving, and drew some idea sketches to draw my family as ninja. (what can I say, I'm a neeeeerd)

The cat is obviously being driven crazy by the smell of the turkey, and my sibs have been making crazy ideas for minecraft and playing on our step-grandpa's phone, and Oma and mama have been cooking.

My laptop decided to try to murder my patience again. Yay.
Luckily, mom came to the rescue. 🙂

Have an amazing day, and don't eat too much before dinner!

bye,
what are you doing for thanksgiving? do you have any family over?
are you at family's house? whats your favorite part of
thanksgiving dinner?

Thanksgiving crafts

Hey everyone!
Thanksgiving is near, and I'm panicking. I've ditched nano to finish Christmas presents, but I'm still not even close to being done. Can I hire a few of santa's elves?

But, I'm not hear to moan, I'm here to give you some links to thanksgiving crafts for your dolls!

Some cranberry sauce,

and a turkey! (with stuffing)

Jessica also has some fun thanksgiving crafts, which you can check out HERE.

And Rudy made green beans, sweet potato casserole, and pecan pie last year, which you can see HERE

Have an amazing holiday girls! 🙂

What we did on Thanksgiving

Hi everybody! On thanksgiving I was sick. I ate a lot of food. The end. The dolls, however, weren't sick, and just made it upstairs. Sorry this is late, I'll try to get some christmas stuff up soon, but I have to make christmas presents for family, and it's taking FOREVER. And my mom announced that my room needed some un-wanted organizing, and kicked a bunch of baby dolls out of their home. poor widdle things. :( anyway,

Here they are, eating dinner.

All the food!

Hmm, we have a disturbance.

"You can't doooo that!"

"I'm hungry! I don't wanna wait!"

Elizabeth is just ignoring them.

"Knock it off, Ruthie! You have to eat your dinner first!"
Mom, can I tell them?
About which thing?
The one about the thing you got in the mail!
No. I get to tell them that.
Awwww!

And here is a pic of their plates.
Hey, and guess what?

This takes forever, how does madi stand it? I give up. I'll just tell you.

I GOT KIT A LIGHTSABER!!!

a genuine lightsaber, as seen in the guiding compass. As soon as I find her robe, she's getting a photoshoot......and, head on over to Tory if you haven't already, she posted about her doll's thanksgving, much earlier than I did, actually. Any way, and regularly check in on Rudy, she's getting on the christmas roll, she's sure to make lots of stuff this year! And make sure you check out all the cool things she did last year to.
Well, goobye!

Doll turkey craft!

Hi everyone! I have the turkey craft, and I'm very sorry that this is a little late. :( I tried to make it as short, and time saving as possible.
You will need:
1. Model magic
2. Craft paints: browns, some yellow, a tiny bit of green, and you might need white or black to get the right color
3. Mod podge and school glue (school glue is optional, but recommended)
4. Craft foam (optional)
5. Wax/parchment paper
6. A disposable small cup of something, a popsicle stick and paintbrushes
7. The patience to wash paint off your hands multiple times

Step 1. Make the body of your turkey out of model magic. I put mine flat on the table and molded it up. Slightly flatten the bottom, and add the line on top. It should be about the size of a very large egg.

Step 2. Now make the legs and the wings. Make sure that they are the right size, then a little larger, for your doll.

Step 3. Stick the limbs on the body, crossing the legs. Stick your finger into the middle of the front of the body, it doesn't have to be deep. And I hope that you have read the whole post before you attempt making it. You can decide later whether you have the time to wait a few hours before moving on to step 5.

Step 4. Make the slices of turkey, ones that your doll can have on her plate.

Step 5. Paint your turkey a thin layer of light brown. It doesn't take long to feel dry to the touch, so keep checking on it. If there is a really warm spot in your house, you can put it there to make the drying even faster.

Step 6. Add some white to your tan, and use it to paint the turkey slices.

Step 7. Take a darker, more roasty brown, and paint it VERY thinly on the turkey with a rough, bigger brush. When that dries, give it some thin layers of mod podge. When It's thinner, it dries in a matter of minutes.

Step 8. Mix up your stuffing. You can use model magic, craft foam, or I had some cushion foam that I cut up. Make your stuffing to look like yours, so make it any way you want. Mix them up with a bunch of school glue, scoop it into the hole, and make it spilling onto the wax/parchment paper. Then squirt some more school glue on it.

You can clump up the rest for extra servings.

Step 9. When it's mostly dry, mix yellow and a bit of tan to paint the cubes. Then use a bit of green to touch up. I haven't done it yet, but flick some green paint onto the stuffing for herbs.
You're done!
You can add more layers of mod podge if you want, even on thanksgiving morning. It'll be dry by dinner. And Jessica made a cute little thanksgiving dinner out of felt, if you want to check that out.
Every new year, we get to eat cinnamon rolls, and my dad made some now, to sick in the freezer until then. They smelled soooo good! *cries because I can't eat it now*
That was really random. o_O
Well, I hope you get your turkeys done in time. Bye!
