This Month on Instagram #22- September

"Ayyyy, it's Kit, your favorite espionage master of disaster!"

"Ninja Kit is gracing you with her presence once more, do not ask why, simply admire me while you can. 😎"

Kit, chill out.

"No. :("

"Anyway, I've got another mission. Top secret, obviously, can only be trusted to one so skilled as I."

"Do you like my sword? I like my sword. Olive has the photos for a DIY post for it, but hasn't bothered writing it yet. She also didn't finish mine, I'd be perfectly happy with a red ribbon handle, but she wants purple. But did she go shopping? Nope!"

"But I can't have a bare hilt so I borrowed Ruthie's hair ribbon, I'm sure she won't mind."

"No that pine cone is not holding up my leg how dare you."

"DIE, EVIL SAMURAI!"

"Finally, here's the focus shift. You knew it was coming."

"Yes, I brought a cup of tea. Being a ninja can be taxing work, and tea is very calming."

"It can be pretty discouraging sometimes, being a ninja. The world is so big, and full of big, mean people, and I'm only a small doll. More often then not, it feels impossible that I can EVER make a difference. But my sensei told me a story once..."

"A Buddhist monk was walking along the beach one morning with one of his students.
Thousands of fish had been washed up onto the shore after a fierce storm. Stooping down, the monk lifted a single creature and returned it to its home in the sea. The student asked why the master did this when it made so little difference to the mass of stranded fish. As the monk lifted another single fish he replied,
“It makes a difference to this one.”
And he tossed it back into the sea."

"Get the picture?"

Kit, honey, you're being a tiny bit cheesy. I will look back on this post in a few months and die.

"I can and will dump this cup of tea on your head. :)"

I can and will ground you. :)

"Oof okay."

"Anyway, I gotta get cracking. Lot's of fish on that beach, and I've got two small currently empty hands."
"See ya next time, ninja Kit out!"
*poof*

Lloyd's return- a Lego Photostory

Hey ya'll!

So, it was a few days before Christmas, I had Elena and my first and favorite Lloyd minifigs in my jeans pocket. I was at a friends house, outside, at night, helping direct a Christmas play. The play went well, but backstage was a MESS. I was a mess, everything was a mess, it was so so hectic, I was very glad when it was over, and we could go inside and have cookies and hot cider. I was late, I was finally relaxed, having finished my cookies, about ready to go home, my hand strays to my pocket. Only one mini figure is inside. PANIC.
A quick check confirms that Elena is still here, but Lloyd is gone. I give a hurried explanation to my friend and rush outside, pulling on my coat, tripping on the uneven ground before I turn on my phone flashlight. I scoured the entire area we were multiple times with that flashlight. I can't find him. By the end of it, I'm crying. Yes, a perfectly undignified 17 year old crying over a lost toy. hey, he's special.
My friend rounds up her brothers and searches for him later, in daylight. A few weeks ago, I searched for him again, in daylight. Couldn't find him. But by then, I had accepted the fact he may have to be replaced, and had found a suitable replacement on ebay. It was killing my inside to do that, (Toy story 3, anyone? TRAUMATIZED me.) But I also knew I would soon forget, and start treating the new one like he was the old one. Sure enough, I did, as soon as I'd clicked the purchase button. XD

So here is a photo story I made the morning after Lloyd arrived, I wish I'd taken some behind the scenes shots, they would have been hilarious. πŸ˜„
(imagine: paper and pieces of torn apart mini figures strewn over the table, an unexpected assortment of objects holding up more paper, and curious sibling faces and hands getting into eVeRyThInG)

 *knocking*
Elena: GUYS!! HE'S HERE!!!

Elena: I can't believe you're here, I'm so happy!
Lloyd: It's so good to to see you, I've really missed you!
Elena: Same!

Lloyd: Hey guys!
Movie Lloyd: 'Sup man!
SE9 Lloyd: Glad you're back!
Elena in background: !!!!

*footsteps*

Lloyd: Ah, here she is! This is Cyren, I met her while I was making my way back. Cyren, this is Elena, and a few of my cousins.
Elena: *gasp* you made a friend! Welcome, Cyren!

Elena:You're going to fit in great here, Cyren! I'll introduce you to Scarlett and her family, they're also pirates!
Cyren: Thank you! It's so nice to finally meet you, btw, Lloyd talks about you a lot! I'm happy to be here, but there's just one thing...
Elena: One of us is gonna have to change our hair.
Cyren: Exactly.
*both laughing*

Lloyd: So, what happened while I was gone? How were the holidays?
Movie Lloyd: Oh yeah, thanks for getting lost three days before Christmas. Really threw off the mood.
SE9 Lloyd: Elena spent like a week crying. It wouldn't have been too bad, but she was listening to "All I Want for Christmas is You" on REPEAT.
Lloyd: *winces* Oooh. Yikes.
Movie Lloyd: It was awful.

**********************

I hope you found this amusing as I did :D
(and for anybody wondering, no, he did not arrive with that face, I swapped it for the story, since the expression fit better.)
(same with Elena lol, thats not her face XD)
I feel like it had too many exclamation points, and it was told in a shorter, choppier tone, but it was written for instagram first, and nobody on insta (besides me) has time to read all that. -_-
But it was fun to make, so there's that. :)
Have a great day,
Bye,
Happy Valentines day. ;)

This Month on Instagram #11- August

Hey, ya'll!
This month's shoot is one of may favorites. Ninja!!!
I paid a dear price though. It was like 125 degrees out there. πŸ˜“ i PrAcTiCaLy DiEd

πŸ’šπŸ’šπŸ’š

 So sneaky.

Exclusive behind the scenes- covered in plant matter. πŸ˜‘

🎡ninja, ninja ninja...🎡

I still haven't posted a tutorial to make these. I'll have to find the pictures, dang it. I took 'em forever ago. They might not even be on my phone, they might be on the i-pod.

Look at my beautiful ninja baby, off to destroy people.
πŸ˜ŠπŸ˜πŸ‰

(anyone get the reference?XD)

 She brought...chop sticks.
But I haven't made her a sword or any nunchucks, (shame on me) so she had to make do.
And as she just demonstrated, they're very good for poking people in the eye. :D

Another exclusive photo- I do love my walking-on-tree-branch shots. :)

 Behind the scenes-
A shadow swinging down, before a perfect landing.😎

It was much too hot, and Kit agreed.

#FABULOUS πŸ’‹ *hair swish*

That's more like it. Can't go revealing your identity when you're on a secret mission.πŸ‘€
(never mind that she paused in the middle for a photo shoot ;P)

πŸ–€πŸ–€πŸ–€

Well, now she took it off.

....aaaaand put it back on again. She spotted her quarry, and remembered that she has a mission, that doesn't involve showing off for the internet.

"Catch ya nerds later."
*ninja out*

Goodness gracious. Where did she go.
*explosion in the distance*
Ah, there she is.

πŸ˜‚πŸ˜‚πŸ˜‚

August was a rather busy month. It was my birthday, Ivy and I took the behind-the-wheel part of drivers ed, (I have discovered the pleasure of zooming through the many back country roads we have around here. It's exhilarating, and usually pretty empty of other cars, and I can go faaaast :D) School started, including an English class I'm taking at Wake Tech, that takes more time than the rest of my school altogether. I actually have to write an essay this week, and haven't finished my homework. heh.
My days are quite crowded, what with normal things and trying to put aside time to work on my book. My drawing book, and the stack of books I just got from the library are also vying for my attention- and Harry Potter, I started a re-read and then got distracted. hmm. I need a time turner. One of me can sit in the seat I've claimed in the living room, and draw, another me can stay in my room and read, and another me can sit at the table in dining room and write, or do my homework. Which is...more writing. And I won't even bother about trying to stay out of myself's way. I'll just give myself a high-five and get a snack. :)
I see no flaw in this plan.

Good luck to all ya'll in school, and have a great day,
Bye,
(I'm missing the beach, a'ight?)
