Doll dining-part 9-lunch & dinner- fruit and veggie plate

Hey girls! The next craft subject is my favorite: dessert! But first we have one more thing. :)
...which I will not get to yet, because of a few more things I have to say. XD Tory has made her first post, you can see HERE, (Sorry, for some reason the link will take you to the bottom of the post, so you will have to scroll all the way up. :/ ) and I found out that my lightsaber would be green. (That was random.) Also, I am very excited for August, because of my birthday! Any way, on to the craft!

You will need:
1. Craft foam
2. Small lids
3. Puffy paint
4. Markers, paint, or small stickers
5. Mini purple or/and green pom poms
.....and scissors.

So, we're making fruit and veggie dishes for your dolls to select some to put on their plate, and technically the fruit could be available for breakfast too. ;)

This is the veggie plate. Cut strips of light green and orange craft foam for celery and carrots, white puffy paint in a small lid for ranch, and the stickers on green craft foam for the cucumbers, or, if you could not find stickers the right size, you can use paint or markers on white craft foam, like what Bennettv did.

And the same for the fruit. The pom poms would be grapes, and you would use light pink puffy paint for the dip. I don't have those though, so all I have is the sticker fruit. XP

And I guess that's about it. So subscribe to my blog by email, and give Hazel's mom a big hug for telling me how to put that on on there! Now shoo until next time, when we will make some desserts!
Bye!

Doll dinning-part 8-lunch & dinner- spaghetti with meat balls

Hi! First off, if you haven't been checking Hazel's blog, shame on you! She has posted a photoshoot and the second part for on the road to salin. I also found the link for Tory's blog, (click HERE,) but she hasn't posted anything yet. And go check out my blogs I love page, I added a few more. :)

You will need:
1. Pasta colored yarn, like a yellowish cream.
2. Red puffy paint (you can make your own HERE.)
3. Dark brown craft foam
4. A doll bowl or plate for size, a hole punch and tooth pick

Step 1. Fill your doll bowl with a long strand of yarn, mine is not the right color. Or you can put the yarn on the doll plate. Now put a big dollop of red puffy paint on the yarn to be sauce.

Step 2. Use your hole punch to punch out some circles, you don't need to many.

Step 3. Now use the tooth pick to completely mutilate it.

Step 4. Now poke them into the puffy paint, so it looks like the tops of meat balls are poking out. Or you could make meat balls out of clay, so they could be not so sunk down.
Now your dolls have delicious spaghetti! yum!
Oh, and you should be able to take the spaghetti off the dish, just be careful not to let the puffy paint drip down onto the dish.
Bye!

Evening storms - a photo shoot

Hi! So it was stormy looking and cool yesterday evening, so I took Kit out, but.....

.....I started having trouble with her staying upright, so I gave up and took pictures of the sky and the next door neighbors crepe myrtle. :p

 Aren't they pretty? *sighs happily*

And my cat, who did NOT want to be photographed. XD

His grumpy face. Hee hee!
You know, I should have shown you some of the blooper cat pics, oh well. :)

Doll dinning-part 7-lunch & dinner- tacos

Yeah, tacos on tuesday, please don't Xp (That is, if you even know what I'm talking about.)
Aaaannnyway, it's about time for some more food. :)

You will need:
1. Tan, yellowish brown card stock, construction paper, or scrapbook paper.
2. Micro styrofoam balls
3. Brown paint and mod podge
4. Green tissue paper
5. Yellow and white craft foam
6. Hot glue, scissors, and wax or parchment paper

Step 1. Make a fold in your paper and eyeball the size to cut your taco shell, you can use a dolls hand for size if you want.

Now you should have a taco shell.

Step 2. Put some of the micro styrofoam balls in something smallish and disposable.

Step 3. Squirt some brown paint and mod podge or glue in it and.....

....stir it all up with a popsicle stick or a paint brush handle, just you will have to wash the paint brush.

Step 4. Scoop it out and put it in doll bite sized clumps on the wax paper. It will be sticky.

Step 5. When the meat has dried, peel it off, and cut some thin strips of green tissue paper for lettuce, and shreds of yellow and white craft foam for cheese, (don't use orange like I did, it looks like shreds of carrot!) and you have every thing to put together.

Step 6. Now glue everything into the shell, and you have your taco!

Enjoy! Oh, and don't forget to write it down in your menu!

Bye!

A really really short photoshoot of Josefina

Um...yeah. It literally contains six photos. So I won't bore you, I will put the pics among the rambling.
This is Josefina. My mama's second doll. My mama bought her when she was a teenager, and she didn't really get played with, just loved, so she is actually in good condition.

She looks a lot like my mama.

Isn't she adorable?

So photogenic.

And her hair! (oops, didn't mean to get my finger in that one.) I saw it HERE and decided that it was to cute, I had to try it on a doll, and Josefina was the only one whose hair was fit for my needs. :) It's not the best, and that is like, my third try.

ooooooo to cute! I could have taken pics all morning but the i-pod died, that's why its so short.
Bye!

The Gems of power - Part 8

The last part, eeeee!
For the previous parts click HERE.
*******************************************************************
I was sitting on my front porch talking to the Queen, for there wasn't really anything we could do.
"Do you think Medea would go back to her castle?" I asked.
"No, she is to cunning to do that. She has probably hidden herself far away, where we can not find her."

"And what about the other kingdom, could they help?"

"Yes, they could, and probably would, but it worries me that we have not been able to contact them."

"Do you think Medea had anything to do with it?"

"I fear so. Also how she controlled the unicorns mind. That takes severely strong magic only a few have accomplished, and with help."

We pondered that for a moment. Then I heard my mother call.

I got up and started to open the door, but stopped.
"Your majesty?"

The Queen turned.
"Yes, Amy?"

"If you ever see Medea again, please call me."

"You know I will Amy, you know I will."

I relaxed.
"Goodbye your majesty."
"Goodbye, Amy."

But far away, in a distant cave far in the mountains, Medea sat in the darkness, plotting.
"Those fools do not know what the're up against."

"For I have something they do not know I have..."

"The blue gem of power!
Yes, I stole it from the other kingdom, and made sure that no messages got though, so no one knew of their loss. It also granted me the strength to control the unicorn, and now shall aid me to get the other, and I shall be the most powerful being in the universe! .....However, I hate to say it, but I may need assistance. I believe it is time to go find my sister...."
*******************************************************************
The end!
No, really please don't get mad! I will make another season as I think of something to happen....
Bye!
