1. What's the scariest thing that's ever happened to you?

ummmmmm.....I don't really remember, which is weird. You think you'd remember something scary?? hmm. Well, it doesn't seem scary now, but when I was little I really really wanted to go on this water slide, even though I could barely swim. Dad said he would catch me at the bottom, as well as Ivy. Thorin had wanted to go as well, but he was too small, the life guard said he couldn't. So Ivy went down, then I got on. First I was prepared, but I didn't reach the end...didn't reach the end...then just as I relaxed, I whipped around a curve and hit the water. I was startled, had no breath in reserve, water in my nose, water in my eyes, I couldn't see, couldn't find the surface, and where was dad? I ended up banging into the wall, and didn't drown, so it turned out fine. But it was scary then. 😛 

2. Best compliment you received?

I was beta reading Madi's novel, Loyalty, and she left a really sweet comment about how she loved reading my comments and suggestions, they were helpful and I kept making her laugh, and to please never stop being me. It made me feel so good. 🙂

3. What are your favorite pizza toppings?

Cheeeeeeese. (Yes, that counts😄) And olives. 😋

4. What's your favorite ice cream flavor?

Chocolate! No, mint! No, strawberry! Oh, I can't pick.🍦

5. If you could have dinner with anyone from history, who would it be?

Assuming they can speak modern English? hmm...maybe Amelia Earhart.  Or maybe Charlotte Bronte, and ask her what in the world was she thinking with Jane Eyre. (Talk about a confusing book!)

6. Do you feel like a leader or a follower?

Depends. I'm an oldest child, so with my siblings I'm a leader. (When they listen, that is) I'm also a leader with my friends, but I'm shy, so around other people I'm satisfied with being a follower.

7. If you could choose your own nickname, what would it be?

Something cool and fandom related. 😆

8. Who is the funniest person you know?

🔥LEO VALDEZ.🔥

9. Using one word, how would you describe your family?

10. What's your favorite time of day?

It's 6 am, summertime, and dawn is spreading across the sky. I've just woken up, and I stretch, the remains of my dreams flitting through my head as I gaze out the window and smile.

I don't really know, I just can't imagine stopping. 🙂

uh, maybe fandom stuff? But I kind of already do that... 😄

Thor and Black widow are tied for first, followed by Captain America.

I want to be a doula, a mom, and write books in my spare time. which will probably be none.

This one is easy. 😄 Kit, even though Camille is crazy adorable.

1. What inspired you to start your blog?

Rudy. She had these videos of her crafts, and I realized that I wanted to share my crafts with other people, not just my sisters. My mom didn't want me doing videos though, so she helped me start a blog instead. 🙂

*shrugs* It's fine. I mostly just change the wallpaper.

It IS 2017. 😄 And I don't remember if I made any. 😝

beach trip

Sometimes I don't listen to myself. 😛

So, the first thing we did this month was go to Hazel's for a beach day, it was very fun. 🙂 And apparently I never posted the photos, so here they are.

Whyyyyyyyy did we have to park so far???

I had brought Kit, and I wanted to get some photos of her, but one look and I said no, I'm not carrying her allllllll the way over there, and then getting one of the parents to come with me allllllll the way back to put her back in the car. No, just no. Sorry Kit.

yeesh, crowded. and those teeny weeny waves! The NC beaches we usually go to, the waves are huuuge and very rough. These waves were surprisingly gentle, but still large and strong enough to enjoy jumping them. 🙂🌊

Ivy, Hazel and I also took one of my favorite selfies ever, ate a lot, and played with the baby. He is so sweet. 💙 We also dug nests in the sand for imaginary creatures, and sat in them eating popcorn and trail mix. it was quite fun. 🙂

I also made the dolls new swimsuits, which is why Kit wanted pictures. Also, as you can see I fixed Kit's mermaid tail, and I don't remember if I showed you Camille's. Well, now you know. 🙂

Also, my next post should be a tags post, and then some more trip posts. 😛

Tea party and other things

Hey ya'll!

So we went to the tea party, and I didn't get as much pictures as I wanted because Ivy, Tory and I got roped into chasing the little girls all around the house, and OUTSIDE, in 86 degree weather. uhg. But we got cake, so that was good. 😋 But here are the photos I did get:

And here is a SUPER bad picture of them all hanging out while I set up the next batch of dolls.

These were the younger girl's dolls. Unfortunately, I don't know the names of the dolls on the ends, they belonged to some other little girls there, but Samantha and Maryellen are Tory's little sister's dolls, and of course there is Elizabeth. 😜

Camille didn't come, she didn't have anything to wear, and even if she did she still wouldn't come, because I made this for her last week and she won't take it off. 

Isn't it cute? I made it like the fin-fun mermaid tails, and even though I have to fix the waist band, I really like how it turned out!

When you take the tail off, its a little swim suit. I love the ruffles!

I put thick craft foam in the fins, leaving a space for her feet to fit in. 🙂🐚🐋

Also, in case you weren't checking back, (tut tut!) parts four and four-and-a-half of The Road to Salin were posted.

I'm also going camping tomorrow, so I won't be posting until I get back, around Sunday, or if I'm to tired then, Monday. Hopefully I'll get lots of good pictures! 😃
