I'm soooooooooooo sorry I didn't post yesterday! We were on the road all day, and then my grandpa's house didn't have internet. Anyway, here you go!
Keep track or her. Carry your doll in a backpack or something so you have your hands free, and you won't leave her behind.
Have a tag. In case you do lose her, laminate a tag asking to be shipped to your address, and hang it around her neck, or tie it to her wrist.
Keep her in sight. In hotels, don't stick her in the corner. Put her in a place where you will see her.
And here are some packing tips.
Don't pack to much. That about says it all.
Use a zip-lock bag. Pack her things in a zip-lock bag so you can see were they are when you need them, and you can tell when you've left something out.
Now for the craft!
I-phones are pretty handy when you travel, my mom uses it a LOT when we travel, mostly google maps.
You will need:
1. Cardboard
2. Paint in several colors
3. Mod podge
4. Paint brush
5. A ruler, scissors, and a pencil
Step 1. Draw a rectangle on the cardboard that is 1 1/2" by 3/4". Round the edges and cut it out.
Step 2. Paint on a black screen, then paint a case the color of your choice. Don't forget the home button.
Step 3. when it has dried, flip it over, and paint a back round, case, and home button.
Step 4. Use different colors to paint tiny little squares for apps.
Give it a few layers of mod podge, and you are done! now your doll has a reversible i-phone that can be on or off.
If you want to print out a screen, the size should be .5" by 1.125"
