'Sweety outside' - a photoshoot (mostly) by Bubbles

Alright, I know what you're thinking, you want some explanation for the title. I am the oldest of 7 kids, but so far I have only mentioned Ivy and Daisy. This post is about the day I took Daisy out to teach her about photoshoots, I also taught Bubbles, who is a preschooler. These are the pics I helped her take of her baby doll, Sweety, in some overalls I made.

 Wow. pretty strong baby!

She looks so cute in this picture!

 I like this one. :)

Again? I guess if you got talent, might as well use it...

I am working on the special post, don't worry, it's just taking a while. :)

Doll croissants

Hi! Here is another baking craft. I was going to wait until later to post this, but oh well!

You will need:
1. Tan foam
2. Hot glue, scissors, ruler, pen or pencil
And of course a baking pan, what  you can make HERE.

Step 1. Draw a triangle that is 2"- 4" on the craft foam and cut it out.

Step 2. Roll the foam up tightly, wide end first, and keep adding hot glue to hold it.

Step 3. Pinch the ends together with your fingers, or use a chip clip to hold the ends together so it looks curved.

And since there isn't enough pics, I took one from THIS post, hee hee.

Oh, I finally got a really good idea for a photo story series! Ruthie is playing the bad guy, and I don't know what to name her! If you have any ideas, please comment! The best I got is Evil Eva, but that's not very good. :P Here is a sneak pic of Ruthie. What should I name her????

Pie craft

HI! What are you doing for memorial day? We are going to sit around recovering from colds and sore throats and trying not to strangle number 3, (I think I will call him Thorin Oakenshield, or Thorin for short, hee hee) because he has a cold and won't blow his nose. Do you ever feel like that? Any way, Love AG suggested some baking stuff and that reminded me of some things I have made before, and one of them was pie.

You will need:
1. Aluminum foil cupcake wrappers (Target)
2. Tan felt
3. Transparent pony beads
4. Stuffing, cotton balls, scraps of fabric, whatever you got
5. Hot glue and scissors

Step 1. Take one of your cupcake wrappers, and spread it out a little bit. You can also make pie pans HERE.

Step 2. Glue a strip of tan felt around the edge of the wrapper....

....and make a little bundle of stuffing, cotton balls, ya know, that kind of stuff.

Step 3. Cut little strips of felt that will go across, lay them out so you know how long they have to be.

Step 4. Glue down the strips of felt going one way....

....and start weaving the other pieces in, over under. Glue the edges down.

When you're done, it should look like this.

Step 5. Put glue on the pony beads, and stick them in the little holes, you may have to pull up the felt on some of them.

Now it should look like a pie.

And now you can trim off the extra bits of felt, and you're done!

Oooh! My pic turned out blue! Now make more pies using different colors. I have raspberry, peach, and blueberry.
Enjoy! :)

Out in the green - a photo shoot

Hi! Anna, (who hosted the tea party,) came over yesterday and took some pics of Carmen, Kit, and Ruthie. I took the first two, and helped with the last. This was totally random, no planing, no dressing, just in what they happened to be wearing at the time. :)

Pretty pretty trees!

Anna set the camera, lens down, on the trampoline, and it went right through!

Hanging out in the sun. :)

Kit gave Carmen a goodbye hug, and paintball took the opportunity to run off. Naughty kitten!
