weekend trip part 1

Hellooooo!

We went on a weekend trip to Oma's about a week ago, and I took a lot of photos...but not any of the ones I had planned on taking. I had planned on taking Kit down to the sand and taking a photo shoot of her in her new tail, but that didn't happen. So, here are some pictures and some of my thoughts on the trip. 🙂

I had managed to claim the spare bed, (no floor for me) and I woke up very early, (habits, people, habits) and Kit was staring out the window watching the sun.

It was quite picturesque.

At 7 am I tip-toed down stairs to the kitchen, and a little later I took these photos.

I think it was later because I don't think the sun was quite that high at 7 am.

Then Kit discovered the flowers and lost interest in the view. (at least for a bit)

hmm. I was hoping this would turn out better.

Oma has these splendid lace curtains, they make excellent wedding veils. 

Kit ran off, and this little guy had ventured out and found his way down here. I didn't notice until he started using the force to open the door. 😛

How'd he lose him arm again? you might ask, if you even noticed that it was missing, and that he was supposed to lose it in attack of the clones. Well, it was my birthday, I don't remember which one, I had just gotten him out of the packaging and he was being passed from sibling to sibling, because if you've got multiple siblings, you know what I'm talking about. So he got handed to Wakko, and quicker than a blink, his arm came off and skittered under the tv cupboard. We never found it. 😐

I like this picture. He looks thoughtful. 🙂 

(but don't tell him that, he might get mad😜)

Then I got distracted by some ducks.

Also a call for a light breakfast. 

I got cocoa puffs. Hence the following conversation.

Are these all for me?

No.

But I'm starving!

No, you're not. But you can have a bite.

A bite?!?

So that was the first half, and sometime following will be the second. I'm also going on another weekend trip, and later this month is mine and Kit's birthdays. You won't get a Kit party post though, because we're going somewhere like, the day after my birthday. (#rude) But if I don't melt from the heat, (why are we going south? why? WHY?) I should have fun. And Kit will explain everything we did in a post when we get back. 🙂

But until then,

I'm so excited for the last jedi! I mean, please!

*scowls* Luke better have a good explanation.

But I'm not here just for star wars! My mom had a picture of me with Hazel's baby brother, and I've updated the post with it, and I'm also putting it here.

(Please excuse my siblings feet)

Also, I couldn't decide what emoji to put on my face, because my face was a mix of the one on there and this one: 😴

But I went with the sunglasses. 😎 

It's raining right now. Nice and cool, but I can't walk up and down the driveway, eating lunch and talking to fictional characters in the rain, unless I want to get wet and annoy the characters, so I had to eat lunch on the porch, and chat there.

It was my mom and dad's anniversary yesterday. 16 years, wow. So to celebrate they went to bad daddy's the night before and left us. Again. We never get to go to bad daddy's! They have the best burgers ever!

But they took us to a park yesterday, and came with us when we went exploring down the creek, but we didn't get very far. Grown ups are SO. SLOW. But bringing them meant also bringing Princess, and she's having her frustrating fours, mixed with being spoiled baby of the family, which means she has tantrums over everything. Which means they had an excuse for being slow.

Also, when they were at bad daddy's, a friend from church came over to help watch us, because I can't watch all of them by myself, and she brought her husband and three small kids, and taught us how to play spoons. (we didn't use the letters though)

So we were playing spoons, and I thought, 'what if....' and I started laughing, and when the other kids asked what was so funny, I told them what I had just thought of. I had imagined fictional characters playing spoons, like Sophie teaching her friends in keeper, the ninja from ninjago, (one of the funniest, oh my word) Darth Vader and some nervous imperial officers, and a group of jedi quietly playing in the jedi library. Oh, and the Avengers, I think the hulk would trash the room if he didn't get a spoon. 😛 It was hilarious, what did you think of? 😄

We also had a huge thunderstorm last night, and a giant branch fell off and barely missed the side of the pool. Ivy said that she woke up in the night to an enormous crash, but I slept right through it. 😝

Well, I think that's it. Oh, and Charis rae is out, I will never get used to calling Grace 'Charis' *sigh*

Star wars comLINKS: Most emotional scene

Hello everyone!

So, the first thing I thought of was the scene that's in the picture, because that had me practically frozen with the feels. But then I was like, pfft! I'm doing something from the originals! The originals are my precious. 😛

So mine is:

The entire end of Return of the jedi

Yep, the entire ending. 😜 

Like when the emperor gets them to fight. This is what goes on in my head, and sometimes out loud. 

"NOOOOO! You wrinkled raisin! How dare you get them to fight! Come on Luke, beat him! I mean, stop! Don't fight! That's the evil raisin's plan!"

My head is pretty crazy. 😜

And then like, when emperor is electrocuting Luke, and Darth vader is just looking from one to the other, it's like, Come on! Hurry up and choose!

It's still so stressful. 🙈

And then the ending is so happy, and it would get me so excited, and my siblings and i would spend the next few hours talking about what the characters would do next, and fantasizing about Luke teaching Leia to be a Jedi, and all that cool stuff. 😃

And then the force awakens RUINED my dreams...😒

And so that is the longest emotional scene, like probably ever. 😛
