Pie craft

HI! What are you doing for memorial day? We are going to sit around recovering from colds and sore throats and trying not to strangle number 3, (I think I will call him Thorin Oakenshield, or Thorin for short, hee hee) because he has a cold and won't blow his nose. Do you ever feel like that? Any way, Love AG suggested some baking stuff and that reminded me of some things I have made before, and one of them was pie.

You will need:
1. Aluminum foil cupcake wrappers (Target)
2. Tan felt
3. Transparent pony beads
4. Stuffing, cotton balls, scraps of fabric, whatever you got
5. Hot glue and scissors

Step 1. Take one of your cupcake wrappers, and spread it out a little bit. You can also make pie pans HERE.

Step 2. Glue a strip of tan felt around the edge of the wrapper....

....and make a little bundle of stuffing, cotton balls, ya know, that kind of stuff.

Step 3. Cut little strips of felt that will go across, lay them out so you know how long they have to be.

Step 4. Glue down the strips of felt going one way....

....and start weaving the other pieces in, over under. Glue the edges down.

When you're done, it should look like this.

Step 5. Put glue on the pony beads, and stick them in the little holes, you may have to pull up the felt on some of them.

Now it should look like a pie.

And now you can trim off the extra bits of felt, and you're done!

Oooh! My pic turned out blue! Now make more pies using different colors. I have raspberry, peach, and blueberry.
Enjoy! :)
